About Buddy
Buddy is a 5-6 year old Labrador Retriever/American Bully mix with a soft gray-blue coat and a gentle soul hardened by recent loss. After his owner passed away, Buddy was nearly out of time, but a caring person stepped in and gave him the chance to heal. Buddy spent most of his life as the sole companion of an older man, and heās now learning to adjust to life in foster care. He gravitates toward quiet time and bonds deeply with his people, thriving with human companionship. He isnāt comfortable with other animalsāespecially male dogsāand has some understandable anxiety after being bitten by another dog. Buddyās best chance at happiness is a calm, low-traffic home where he can be the only pet or, possibly, share space with a mellow female. He doesnāt get along with cats and is still picking up house training skills. Buddyās personality shines when he feels safe and respected, and he deserves to spend his next chapter as someoneās devoted friend. Because he was born on January 6, Buddy is a Capricorn, which might explain his steady and loyal nature. Letās make it official, apply to adopt!
