Dyna Bear is a large, bicolor black mixed-breed Rottweiler/Doberman Pinscher currently living in Rincon, PR. She’s an adult female with significant special needs due to her health history, including previous malnutrition and current ongoing treatment. Dyna Bear is not yet house trained and her spay status is still to be confirmed with a vet check. She gets along well with children and other dogs but will benefit most from a calm environment and attentive health management.

About Dyna Bear

Dyna Bear showed up at the gate starved and frail, but slipped past barking dogs with single-minded determination to find help. After some steady meals and rest, she’s put on healthy weight and is finally comfortable. Dyna Bear is an older girl, likely between 5 and 8 years or more, and carries a quietly gentle energy with her deep bark. She’s content soaking up the sun and strolling short distances in the mountain air. While she gets along with other dogs, her health makes it best for her to have her own space, and attentive management of her meals is necessary because of past food insecurity. She would do best with an adopter experienced with ongoing medical care and willing to provide a peaceful place for her to enjoy her later years. Spay status is yet to be determined due to current health needs, and she’s still on treatments for conditions like heartworm and remnants of malnutrition. Dyna Bear is located in Maricao, Puerto Rico, and should stay within short travel range—no flights. If you want to support her journey back to health and give her the calm, caring home she deserves, she’s waiting for you. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
