About Eden
This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Eden's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Eden, a 1-year-old Labrador/Bulldog mix, weighing about 35 pounds (as of 1/19/26). This gorgeous lady was found as a stray in Tennessee (can you believe it??) but she definitely knows she deserves to live in a fancy home with butlers serving her endless treats. Oh, you don't have butlers? Well, guess you'll be the butler then! Eden's story started when she was brought in from a neglectful home. She was understandably wary at first until she realized she was safe and sound. Her warm personality (aside from her beautiful coat) makes her stand out among her fellow dogs! This girl is destined for the posh New England lifestyle! She just asks that her future family will be willing to help her with leashes as she's okay on them, but will still need some work. Additionally, Eden seems to be housebroken with a dog door, but if you don't have one, she'll be more than happy to recommend a contractor to help make one! Or at the very least, will try her best to let you know when she's gotta go (but she does ask for patience!) When it comes to food, this girl prefers to play hide and seek with hers by burying it, but we're sure she'll grow out of it once she feels more settled and realizes that she'll never run out of food or treats with you around! Eden has done really well from what she came from. She's working hard to adjust so she can be the best family member she can be! She's even learning her name and how to get along with other dogs. What can't this girl do? If you said Einstein's Theory of Relativity, you'd be wrong! But don't worry. Everyone assumes that. Eden is a wonderful girl who is now looking for a forever home. She can't wait to meet you! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Eden, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $495] ** PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
