Thank you!** Who needs a cupcake when you have this MUFFIN? Meet Maverick Muffin - a 1 1/2 old, Black Lab mix, who weighs approx 60 pounds (as of 11/20/25). This sweet boy was found as a stray in Mississippi and is looking for his forever family. Maverick Muffin is a gentle, sweet, and playful young lab mix who loves other dogs and especially enjoys games of fetch and chasing a soccer ball — ball is life! He has done wonderfully with his foster dog sibling and three other dog friends he has met so far. He may be shy at first, but once he warms up he loves leaning in for ear rubs and neck scratches. He enjoys relaxing in the evening with his people while working on a chew or stuffed Kong, and brings joy and laughter with his playful antics. His southern foster also shared that he is gentle, attentive, and playful with children. Maverick will thrive with an adopter committed to continuing his confidence-building and training. He is fully crate trained, nearly house trained, and continues to improve with routine and consistency. Maverick would do best in a home with a backyard and would love a dog sibling or regular access to friendly dogs for play and companionship.
