Taquito is about 2 to 3 years old and impossible not to smile atāthose soulful droopy eyes and that adorable bob tail give him away. Heās an American Foxhound who spent some time fending for himself in North Carolina, finding comfort near a roadside crew before coming into rescue. Now in Chesapeake, VA, heās up to date on vaccines and neutered. Taquito is friendly, gentle, and often downright goofy. Heās got a thing for stealing shoes and being wiggly, but he also enjoys winding down in front of the fireplace. With an average energy level, Taquito appreciates play as much as he values a good nap. Heās house trained, crate trained, and happiest when other dogs are aroundāhe really blooms with canine company. He also gets along with cats and kids, making him a well-rounded fit for all sorts of families. Heartworm treatment is currently underway, covered by the rescue until heās cleared.
