She was left behind when her owner was evicted and came to rescue dangerously underweight and lethargic. Thanks to good care, she's put on much-needed pounds and is up to about 35 pounds now, with a little more to gain. Her temperament really stands out—she is gentle, easygoing, and loving, showing a calm grace around all the dogs and cats she’s met, and patient sweetness with young kids too. Trudy Anne is up to date on vaccines, has been spayed, and recently completed surgery to remove four cancerous mammary masses. She’s heartworm positive and is receiving treatment. Despite her medical setbacks, she’s steadily gaining strength and shows steady improvement. Trudy Anne is crate trained and seems comfortable in new routines.
