About Ghost
Meet Ghost, a two-year-old pit mix whose giant smile matches his affectionate energy. Ghost came from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and now thrives in a foster home, showing what an attentive companion he can be while waiting for a permanent place to call home. He knows basic commands—sit, stay, and come—and walks without trouble on a leash. Ghost runs on high energy, always up for a game with stuffed toys, balls, or tug-of-war, but he'll happily settle into a cuddle with his favorite person once playtime ends. He adores people and is known for expert-quality hugging. Ghost gets along with children and has done well on dog assessments, but he’s best suited for a home without small dogs or cats. An active family will be a perfect fit. Meet-and-greets with all household members, human and four-legged, are required to ensure the right match. Local adoptions only: within about 55 miles of Lockport, NY. No Canada adoptions due to current regulations. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
