About Maddie
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Are you searching for the ultimate #Girlboss of the canine world? Meet Maddie, a fiercely independent and bossy lady with her own unique flair. Before finding her way to Diamonds in the Ruff, Maddie hadn't been socialized much with people or other animals, but she’s now really shining as she discovers her sparkling personality. If you're looking for a strong-willed pittie who isn't afraid to take charge, Maddie might just lead you into your next adventure! Maddie is still learning and growing each day. She is incredibly devoted to her foster family and adores her foster fur-siblings, especially her chosen canine buddy who has become her emotional support. While Maddie still shows her “stranger danger” tendencies and can be reactive with newcomers and new dogs, her loyalty and affection with her trusted circle are unmatched. She’s working one-on-one with a trainer to help her become more comfortable in new situations, and she’ll need an adopter who can support her journey with patience and understanding. Loving Maddie is like being greeted by sunshine daily: she’ll smother you with sweet kisses, playful energy, cuddles, and contented sighs. With continued training provided, Maddie is ready for someone committed to helping her thrive. Until Maddie is ready to expand her social horizons, she’ll do best in an adult-only home with other balanced, well-mannered dogs. Local adopters only, within approximately 55 miles of Lockport, NY 14094. Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, and flea treatment. Breed-specific laws prevent adoption to Canada. Thank you for considering a special diamond like Maddie! This could be the start of something paw-some.
