Meet Rubble, a big-hearted, high-energy American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix. Rubble came into rescue abandoned and dealing with some skin problems and anxiety. With care and patience, he has already made strong progress physically and emotionally. He's essentially a giant puppy: energetic, a bit shy at first, but once comfortable, he turns into a total cuddle bug. Rubble needs continued training and confidence building, so his ideal adopter has experience with large breeds and can offer time, guidance, and regular exercise. He thrives with positivity—he’s extremely food motivated, which makes training smoother. To set him up for success, his home should have no children under ten and offer calm, patient leadership. He is house trained. Dog compatibility is still being evaluated. Adopters must live within 55 miles of Lockport, NY and Rubble cannot be adopted into Canada.
