About Zebo
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Zebo! Zebo is a four-year-old pup with a heart that’s bigger than his courage right now. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for sensitive souls like him, and Zebo needs time to breathe, feel safe, and rediscover kindness in the world. Initially, he may come across as timid, watching quietly and hoping for gentle handling, but with patience, reassurance, and love, Zebo will start to open up in ways that are truly special. His trust is something to be earned, and when he gives it, it’s a beautiful bond. Zebo strikes a wonderful balance between bursts of enthusiasm and peaceful moments. He loves calm evenings, cozying up in comforting spaces, and simply enjoying the presence of someone who helps him feel secure. He’s crate trained and finds comfort in his crate, demonstrating his ability to settle in and make himself feel at home. What Zebo needs most is someone who will allow him to move at his own pace—a person who understands that healing takes time and love grows gently, moment by moment. If you’re willing to let Zebo set the tempo, you’ll be rewarded with a deep, unhurried companionship and the joy of giving a deserving dog a second chance. Please note: Adoptions and fosters are limited to within approximately a 55-mile radius of Lockport, NY, 14094 (Canada excluded due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation).
