Coming from animal control, Gizmo brought his charming personality with him to Mostly Mutts. He’s been soaking up affection from the wonderful volunteers and is now ready to find his forever family! 💖 Gizmo is described as a sweet, slightly timid boy – but don’t let that fool you! He is friendly and absolutely ready to show his love to the right family. During his bath, he showed bravery like no other, happily sighing during the shampoo while letting the volunteers pamper him! 🛁✨ Gizmo is gentle and cuddly, and oh boy, does he love affection! Who wouldn’t want to snuggle with a cutie like him? Now, let's talk about compatibility! 💕 Gizmo gets along well with the other dog he arrived with and has met several others at Mostly Mutts without any issues—though he might need a little time to warm up before engaging in play. While we haven’t seen how he does with cats just yet, it’s a ‘let’s meet’ to find out! And if you have kids, Gizmo hasn’t met them at the shelter, so bring them along for a meet-and-greet—but toddlers might be a little intimidating for this sweet boy. Gizmo has been busy learning at the Mostly Mutts University! 🎓✨ He already knows commands such as ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’, ‘drop it’, and ‘place’. While he’s still getting the hang of leash walking (a little pulling here and there), he’s eager to learn more and become the star of the neighborhood! 🏃‍♂️💨 Gizmo is currently working on his potty training, so his new family will need to be patient and supportive to help him master his bathroom skills. This lovable lad has a taste for treats and enjoys chillin' with the volunteers—a little bench time is his favorite! As he settles into his new home, there will be even more delightful activities waiting to be discovered together! The only thing he really dislikes is a wire crate; after an unfortunate bump to his head, he’d prefer to avoid them altogether. 🥺❤️ Gizmo is neutered, micro-chipped, and current on his vaccinations. He’s ready to be adored by a family who will treasure all his quirks and cuddles!
