About Wilson
Wilson is about 3 years old and weighs roughly 46 lbs. He came from animal control and is settling in well with volunteers, though he's ready for a permanent home. Wilson is currently working hard in a prison/foster training program where he's learning new things and having a good time. He's met other dogs at the rescue and gets along well, so he'd be happy with canine companions. Cat compatibility isn't known yet. Wilson hasn't met kids, but because of his size and enthusiasm, a home without toddlers would be best. Wilson's personality is just as big as his heart—he's cheerful, goofy, affectionate, and playful. He brings a lot of energy to any room and loves handing out kisses. Bath time is a party for him, especially if he can drink from the sprayer. Training is ongoing, but he's already mastered 'sit' and is working on leash manners. Potty training and crate acceptance are still in progress. He loves toys, especially tennis balls, and peanut butter treats never fail to make his tail wag. Wilson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He's looking for a family that will keep up with his training and meet his need for attention, love, and activity.
