About Gandolf

Meet Gandolf, a 52-pound Blue Heeler mix full of love and personality! Heโ€™s quite the social butterfly and gets especially excited to meet new people. Once heโ€™s had a chance to say hello, youโ€™ll see what a gentle sweetheart he can be. Gandolf adores affection, especially butt scratches, and he's an enthusiastic fan of squeaky toys, always ready to chase them around. This playful, active boy thrives on adventure but does have some barrier reactivity. As such, he will do best in a home with a secure fence rather than an apartment, where strangers can approach easily. His future family should be familiar with the Blue Heeler breed's need for exercise and mental stimulation. Gandolf needs patience and understanding, but he will repay you with foolish antics, affection, and joyful memories. His adoption fee is $225 plus tax, which covers his care here at the humane society. Note that Pennington County residents will need to pay an additional $8 licensing fee at the time of adoption. Happy adopting!
