Kirby was adopted as a pup and was returned to us; his adopter ran into some medical issues and was no longer able to care for Kirby. Kirby is a very good boy, he is shy at first with strangers but them when he does warm up, he acts like he has known ya forever, he was an only dog at his previous home, he is very much a companion dog who loves to go for walks and travels fine in the car. He does get along with other dogs as he has always done, but at 10 he has grown use to the way life once was. Please note he does have environmental allergies and requires monthly injections to be comfortable. We would like to find him a home where someone is looking to have a faithful companion and be willing to take him for walks and play with him. He still has lots of energy left and loves to run.
