Beamer
AvailableBeamer is a 3-year-old, male Pit Bull Terrier and Golden Retriever mix in Harrisville, WV. His coat is a brindle mix that stands out. Neutered and up to date on vaccines, Beamer is partially house trained and has no special needs, but does best in a home with adults. He’s ready for someone patient to win his trust.
About Beamer
Back in late August, Beamer and ten other dogs were rescued in terrible condition—barely hanging on, with little more than skin and bones to them. The puppies especially had it rough, and Beamer was one of those who nearly didn’t make it. After coming so close to losing everything, he’s filled out, gotten strong, and turned into a playful, chunky boy who’s a sucker for belly rubs. His past left a mark: Beamer takes a while to warm up to strangers, so his adopter will need to put in some face time before bringing him home. For people he trusts, his loyalty doesn’t waver. Beamer is neutered, current on vaccines, and has made progress with house training. He’s selective about canine friends, so all meets with other dogs are required. He needs an adult-only or adult-savvy home—he’s not suited for young kids. His adoption fee is fully sponsored, and he’s looking for someone willing to stick around for the long haul.
