Jordy
AvailableJordy is a female, golden Black Mouth Cur mix with a short coat currently in Grayslake, IL. As a baby, she is not yet house trained, and has been spayed. Her vaccinations are up to date, and she does have some special needs. Jordy is starting out in life and looking for a safe and patient home.
About Jordy
Jordy came in scared of just about everything, relying only on her sister, and not sure what to make of people. She didn’t know about leashes, toys, or silly puppy talk. The staff at Save-A-Pet stuck with her, patiently helping her get used to new things each day. It started with a cautious investigation of plush toys, eventually building up to 'booping' a squeaky toy and earning a treat. A little time in the play yard turned into more running, and soon Jordy began to experience happiness she’d never known before. Now, she enjoys romping with other dogs and finds the world a bit less frightening, though she’s still cautious around new people. Jordy is at the very beginning of her journey and will need a compassionate, patient family willing to help her discover how good life can be. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
