She adores adventures like car rides, and her idea of a perfect day includes head scratches and cheeseburgers. After spending sweltering summer days on the streets, Kiwi found refuge on a kind-hearted dog lover's porch. This cozy haven provided her the safety she desperately needed. Kiwi has already shown her gentle side, making friends with a male Beagle and a male Rottweiler mix at her foster home. She also interacts well with cats and other dogs, given a proper introduction. Kiwi prefers a little space when adjusting to new environments; she doesn't like it when other dogs crowd her too soon. Once she's comfortable, her affectionate personality shines through. This lovable dog is house trained and knows commands like sit, and she’s diligently learning to shake. Kiwi thrives on companionship, especially around children and teenagers, welcoming all the attention she can get. Her excitement is palpable when her person returns home, marked by a wagging tail and a big doggy smile.
