About Brooklyn
Your new best friend is just one click away. Brooklyn is a remarkable 4-year-old, possibly a Lab/Black Mouth Cur mix, who has shown tremendous courage and progress after a tough start in life. Originally coming from a difficult background, she experienced a spinal injury and spent several months in a kennel, which caused back-leg weakness. Thanks to dedicated care, proper nutrition, and consistent chiropractic support, Brooklyn can now walk and run independently, with no issues navigating stairs. She does require her bladder to be expressed, but this is a simple process that even first-timers find manageable. Brooklyn enjoys going outdoors with other dogs and patiently waits during this quick routine. Currently on a raw diet to help her build and maintain muscle strength, this sweet girl has overcome many challenges and is ready for a loving, committed home. Brooklyn is described as happy and affectionate. While she tends to prefer the company of women, she has shown no issues meeting new people and has interacted positively with veterinarians and other caretakers during her time in foster care. She gets along well with dogs both big and small. Brooklyn is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on preventative care, weighing around 55 lbs. She is truly deserving of a family that will cherish her forever. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
