About Brooklyn

Brooklyn is a resilient, 4-year-old Lab/Black Mouth Cur mix who’s navigated more challenges than most dogs see in a lifetime. She came to rescue as a cruelty confiscate, suffering from a spinal injury and long-term kennel confinement that left her back legs weak. Since then, with consistent chiropractic care, good nutrition, and strength-building routines, Brooklyn has regained the ability to walk and run on her own—including managing stairs without issue. She does need her bladder expressed regularly, but her foster had no experience before Brooklyn and found it simple to learn. She waits outside with the other dogs for this routine. Brooklyn keeps to a raw diet for muscle strength, per her vet. Despite everything, she remains spirited, sweet, and delighted to be around people. While she tends to gravitate toward women, she's adapted well to meeting new folks and vet staff. She gets along nicely with other dogs, regardless of their size. Brooklyn is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations, plus she’s heartworm negative and maintained on prevention year-round. She deserves a family committed to her special care and wellbeing. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
