About Max
Max is a fun-loving, medium-sized mixed breed dog who really comes alive when he gets to play. He originally came in with a badly broken leg that nearly needed amputation, but after some time and care, he hardly favors it now and bounds around with energy. Max is a bit reserved with new people, but given some time, he'll warm up and show his friendly side. He loves romping with Sweetie, his lab buddy, or enjoying games of tug-o-war. If he's on his own, he'll keep himself entertained by tossing his toys or investigating tree branches, stumps, and sticks—nature fascinates him. At night or when his people are away, Max settles quietly in his kennel. This not only helps him relax, but also keeps him from indulging his sock-chewing habit. He's house trained and eager to please. Since Max gets along well with other dogs and children, he makes a great fit for many families. He needs to be an indoor dog and should always be supervised in a securely fenced area when outside. Start getting to know this healthy, affectionate dog who is ready for his next adventure with you.
