Sweet and comforting just like the candy I’m named after! Hi, I'm Rollo! I’m a 2 year old Shepherd mix, weighing 47 pounds of pure love and loyalty. I’m an active and playful boy. I am house training, great on a leash, and I already know sit and stay. I get along with other dogs (particularly girl dogs) , don't mind cats but haven't been around kids yet. I am not a fan of male dogs and would need supervision if being around them. I would thrive in a house setting with a fenced yard. I prefer to go potty on my own while exploring the fenced yard and not while on a leash. I like cheeseburgers, cow hooves, but I am scared of storms. Since I am a bit timid, it takes me a bit to warm up to strangers but I am a great friend once I am comfortable. I was treated for Heartworms and recently received the all clear report. I’ll be good as gold—just like a Rolo wrapper. Are you ready to unwrap a lifetime of love with me? **Special Note: Rollo must be adopted locally within Springfield and surrounding areas due to ongoing heartworm treatment which will be completed at the Rescue One Clinic. No worries though - heartworms are not contagious from dog-to-dog, and Rollo should not have any special needs related to heartworms after completing treatment! My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
