About Kodo
Kodo wants nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick—wherever you are, he's right there tailing you. At just one year old, this Shepherd mix is easy to train thanks to his food motivation and is doing well with house, crate, and leash routines. He happily shares his space and toys with other dogs, especially females, but can be a little unsure of larger males. Kodo identifies more as a Mama’s boy, eager to make his people proud and always ready to stick close to your side. Having a fenced yard is a must for him, and he absolutely thrives on attention and affection. He’s lived successfully with cats, though his playful style can get a bit rowdy. Kodo isn’t suited for a home with children, but he does well with other dogs and knows several basic commands already. Continued patience, routine, and positive reinforcement will go a long way with him. He bonds hard, fitting the bill as a true “velcro dog,” and needs a family ready for a close companion who will never be far from sight. If you’re looking for a devoted, eager-to-please young dog and are committed to ongoing training, Kodo could be the shadow you didn’t know you needed. Your new best friend is just one click away.
