About Paladin

Paladin is all heart and energy, ready to take on the world alongside his new family. At about a year and a half old and 45 pounds, this Border Collie mix brings smarts and a steady, noble spirit to every day. He’s house, crate, and leash trained, recently graduated from intermediate training, and eager to keep learning new tricks with you. Play unites his mind and body—he doesn’t just love games, he lives for them, and he’ll curl up for cozy cuddles in the evenings. He thinks he’s a lap dog, but he’s got the build and energy of a true herding breed. Paladin gets along with sturdy older kids and other dogs (with proper introductions), but he’d also be happy as the solo star of the home. He really needs a house with a secure yard and just isn’t built for apartment life. He’s a gold-medal athlete with his herding ball and hopes for a family that loves to hike or run. Experience with herding breeds is recommended to bring out his best, and adopters should be ready for training, play, and plenty of teamwork. Paladin’s new human crew should all be on board for the fun—and the responsibility—of raising a young, energetic dog. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
