Lady was found as a stray that was found on the streets of New York City and brought to the New York Animal Care Centers. While there, she was shut down, stressed and avoiding all social interactions. Her time was coming to an end and she needed a savior. A savior came in the form of a wonderful woman that saved her life. N/a Lola will do well in a home with adults and as an only dog or with other dogs. We have not had an opportunity to introduce her to any children yet. She has medium energy and loves to run around outside but also naps most of the day while I work. Lola likes to play with other dogs, but also likes to spend time on the couch/floor sleeping and lounging around. Enjoys belly rubs and playing with people once she gets to know them. She does take time to open up to strangers. Lola is a sweet, loving dog especially after she warms up to you. She is very affectionate, likes car rides and enjoys the company of other dogs. She has about medium energy and loves playing tug of war with my other dogs and chasing each other around outside. She also enjoys napping on the couch or in her favorite sunny spot for hours at a time during the day. Lola has been nothing but a joy since shecame to live with us in December. She has the most beautiful eyes and smile.
