About Jackie Onyx
Jackie was found as a stray on the streets of NYC. A good samaritan found him and brought him in thinking he was lost. After five days he was brought to the NYC Animal Care Centers. The NYC Municipal animal shelter. During his stay at the finder, they reported that he was good with cats, friendly with other dogs and they also said : He is a social, affectionate, active, and playful dog. He spends most of his time where people are. He allowed his finders to bathe and brush him. With his finders he would go on a hour long walk in the morning, and a hour and a half long walk in the evening. He loves car rides. He knows, "sit" and "wait". He loves belly rubs and ear scratches. He is playful, trusting, and energetic. He loves salmon treats and chew toys. However his time was coming to an end and he needed a savior. That savior came in the form of another Jackie, his foster mom. She saved his life. This zoomie-loving, toy-chasing pup is bursting with energy, affection, and personality. Onyx is thriving in foster care, learning home life basics, and loving every adventure—from car rides to backyard playtime. He’d be happiest with an active family who enjoys walks, outdoor fun, and including their dog in everything they do.
