Zues' owner took possession of him from someone else when they could no longer keep him. That new family kept him for one montoh then surrendered him to the NYC ACC - New York Animal Care Centers - The NYC municipal shelter due to the owner having allergies and other health related issues. When he first entered the shelter he was wiggly, gentle and friendly but within time at the shelter he started to struggle. The stress of the shelter was wearing on him. His time was coming to an end and he was scheduled for euthanasia - no room at the shelter. A wonderful gentleman saved him (as he did many others before him) and now Zues is ready for his forever home.
