About Bethy

Meet Bethy! Bethy is a 5-year-old, 65 lb brindle whose white speckled paws and squishy face make her surprisingly photogenic, especially in her signature happy smile. She’s a sweet, silly Pittie/Staffie mix who wants nothing more than to be someone’s sidekick. Once discarded, Bethy now relishes retired life—her saggy pittie belly is worn as a badge of honor and she’s got nothing but affection to share. Staff and volunteers at the shelter couldn’t get enough of her, and not just because she’s the queen of fan club videos. Bethy thinks every toy is the best toy. She’s equally ready to be your brisk walking companion or to spend the evening sprawled on the couch, claiming the role of household weighted blanket. Social and dog-friendly, Bethy is always ready with a smile or a silly snort. She’s smart too, already knowing sit, paw, down, and stay. In her foster home, she’s shown nothing but gentleness with the two kids (ages 7 and 9). Bethy is fully house trained, crate trained, and always tracks down the sunny spot for a good nap. Quiet, goofy, affectionate, and grateful to be cared for, Bethy’s just looking for a home where no one overlooks her. Ready to meet a snorty, snuggly queen who will love you back every day?
