About Skar
Skar was found running along the freeway in over 100-degree heat, terrified and desperate for help. He has a striking scar along his backāa jagged old wound, likely from squeezing under a fence, but itās healed and doesnāt slow him down. When he was first rescued, Skar was extremely skinny and wary of people, but since then, heās blossomed into a playful, happy dog. Heās gained weight and is always eager for affection, often leaping up just to get close to you. Skar is about a year old and has a medium golden and white coat with a natural, athletic buildāheās part Queensland Cattle Dog and Ibizan Hound. He loves playing and 'talking' with other dogs, and he brings an upbeat, lively energy to his surroundings. Skar still needs some work on house training and learning not to jump, but heās bright and open-hearted, ready to learn with the right guidance. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
