About Petunia
This could be the start of something paw-some. Petunia is a rescued puppy who has overcome a rough start after being found infested with fleas and ticks, wandering in the heat while thirsty. Now, thriving in foster care, she weighs about 35 lbs and is known for her bursts of high energy, especially early in the morning and before supper. Despite her lively nature, Petunia is very sweet, submissive, and shows no food aggression. She enjoys playing with a pack of dogs and often outlasts her playmates, but she is not suited for homes with babies due to her high prey drive—especially for squirrels. Petunia is a smart girl who knows how to entertain herself with toys and adores back scratches. When not in one of her active moods, she often matches the energy of her senior dog companions. She is currently thriving on a vegan Natural Balance kibble diet. Petunia is house trained and being fostered in Commerce, Texas; her foster is willing to drive her to her future home to ensure a great match. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
