Trenton is a 2-year-old neutered male Heeler/Hound mix with handsome red and white coloring and beautiful speckling that makes him just as unique as his personality. He came from a situation where there were many dogs and limited positive human interaction, so he is still learning how to build confidence and trust with people. Trenton has already begun making progress, but he will need a patient and understanding family willing to continue helping him grow at his own pace. Trenton would do best in a calm home without young children, where the environment is quiet and predictable so he can feel safe while learning that the world isn't such a scary place. When meeting other dogs on leash, Trenton has seemed okay with gentle, respectful dogs, but he can show barrier reactivity and may be selective about his canine companions. Because of this, a meet and greet will be required for any dogs already in the home to ensure a good fit.
