Chandler is a spunky young Coonhound mix; approximately 1 - 2 years old, and weighs 52 lbs. Since we don't know his exact age, he could grow to be over 60 lbs; but likely not more than 65. Chandler is energetic, excitable, and playful. He is sweet and affectionate, but he does have a lot of energy, so stimulation is key for him to thrive in a home. This is typical of Hounds. He loves to run; an active family who takes him for long walks/runs would be great. He gets along well with other dogs, but has some assertion over food, so a meeting with any dog in the home is recommended prior to adoption, and separate feeding is a must. He is highly motivated by food, so this will make training easier. He does need some work on not jumping up to greet you, and some basic manner training, nothing extensive. The fee to adopt Chandler is $200; this includes: neuter, vaccines, de-worming, HW test and a microchip.
