About Chandler
Start your journey together! Apply now. Chandler is a spunky young Coonhound mix who is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old and weighs in at 52 lbs. With his playful and energetic personality, Chandler thrives when given lots of mental and physical activity, just as you would expect from a classic Hound. He is sweet, affectionate, and loves to run, making him a wonderful match for an active family who enjoys long walks or runs. Chandler gets along well with other dogs, though he can be a little assertive around food, so a proper introduction with resident dogs is advised and separate feeding should be provided. His eagerness for treats means that he will respond well to positive training methods and will benefit from some guidance to curb his jumping habits and to brush up on basic manners. Chandler would do best in a home that can meet his need for exercise and enrichment. Chandler is currently located at the Animal Refuge Foundation in Sherman, TX, and is available for adoption by appointment only. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
