Meet Meyers! This one-and-a-half-year-old pit bull may be small in size (under 40 pounds!) but he’s overflowing with personality and charm! Meyers came to us from local animal control and has been a total joy ever since. He’s playful, happy, and full of energy — the kind of dog who’s always ready for a game of fetch or a romp in the yard. Meyers gets along great with other dogs, would be just fine with cats, and absolutely loves kids (though he’d do best with older ones who can match his fun energy!). If you’re looking for a compact cutie with a big heart and even bigger smile, Meyers is your guy! The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog and family’s needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
