Glacier
AvailableGlacier is a male, adult pit bull terrier of medium size, currently in the care of NAWS Humane Society. He has been neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. He is not yet house trained and will need to be the only pet in the home. This strong and intelligent boy is seeking a patient adopter who can give him time to gain confidence and trust.
About Glacier
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Glacier, a two-year-old pit bull with the kindest eyes and the softest soul. Glacier was found in heartbreaking condition—severely emaciated and clearly let down by those around him. Despite the tough start, he is steadily gaining both weight and trust, and his sweet personality is beginning to shine. Currently weighing just under 50 pounds, Glacier will likely reach a healthy weight of 60+ pounds. He’s a big, beautiful, and strong boy who is incredibly intelligent—he already knows several commands! Glacier needs to be the only pet in the home (no dogs or cats), and given his size and strength, would be best with children over 10. He is very wary of men, so ideally he’s looking for a female-only home or a very patient man who understands that building trust takes time, space, and consistency. Although Glacier has endured so much, he remains gentle and loving. He deserves a home filled with patience, kindness, and unconditional love—one that will help him flourish and heal.
