About Mr. Buttons
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Mr. Buttons is a survivor with a remarkable story! After spending at least six months fending for himself around a cluster of apartments, experiencing both kindness and adversity, he's blossomed into a sweet and resilient companion. Once extremely fearful and uncertain, this small mixed-breed boy has learned to trust again. Thanks to patient, positive reinforcement, he's come a long way and now enjoys fetch, daily walks, and snuggling up on the sofa. His personality truly shines, showing off his playful side and intelligence, especially since discovering the joy of toys. Mr. Buttons is a male, has been neutered, and his vaccinations are up to date, along with monthly heartworm prevention. He gets along well with dogs after a proper introduction, is crate trained, and mostly house trained. Apartment or condo life will suit him well, as he's a quiet dog who loves car rides and isn't fazed by city sounds anymore. He has only one eye, so it’s important to approach gently from his sighted side—he appreciates gentle introductions and rewards-based guidance. Given his experiences, Mr. Buttons is searching for a patient, adult-only home experienced with rescue dogs—one that can provide unwavering love, understanding, and positive training to ensure his continued progress. He may never enjoy super busy settings, but in a loving, stable home, he'll give you his whole heart. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
