About Gurri
Gurri is a Catahoula mix with standout markings and a gentle presence. He arrived at K-9 Lifesavers in Washington, DC from a crowded situation in Alabama alongside his siblings, and now he's waiting to start his next chapter. At just over a year old, Gurri is at a great age for training—he has a bright, perceptive mind and is ready to learn with a bit of guidance. He can come off shy at first, but in the right environment, his sweet temperament surfaces, revealing an easygoing and friendly companion. Gurri gets along well with other dogs and cats—so he's got the right temperament for a multi-pet household. He isn't fully house-trained yet and will need a patient adopter who is willing to teach him the ropes, though his age makes him responsive to new routines. As a young Aries, Gurri brings a mix of curiosity and quiet confidence to everything he does. If you’re looking for a unique medium-sized dog with good social instincts and a soft spot for gentle play, Gurri is worth meeting. Click apply to start the adoption process.
