About Mena
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Mena, a beautiful young Catahoula mix with mesmerizing heterochromatic eyes that are sure to capture your heart. Mena was rescued from a crowded shelter in Alabama along with her siblings, and she's ready to start her new chapter in a loving forever home. Her striking markings make her stand out, but it's her cheerful and friendly personality that truly shines. At just the right age for learning and socialization, she’s eager to discover the world, bond closely, and prove how bright she can be. Mena is outgoing and loves making new friends, but she sometimes gets a little possessive of her toys and food around other dogs. With thoughtful guidance and consistent routines, that’s manageable, so she may do best as an only dog or with slow introductions if another dog is in the family. She’ll benefit from obedience training, which is recommended for all new pets, to help make her transition smooth and fun for everyone. Mena’s adoption fee covers all her basic vetting needs, vaccinations, preventatives, and spay services. Fun fact: With a birthday on March 27, Mena is an Aries! Aries dogs are known for their playful energy and adventurous spirit. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
