About Tate

Tate is a 5-month-old, medium-sized Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a blue merle coat and a lot of heart. When he first came in as a found pup, shelter life was overwhelming—he arrived scared and unsure, quick to go on defense. Now, with a little time, familiar faces have brought out the playful, eager puppy hiding underneath. He seeks attention, throws himself into play, and is starting to trust again. He’s still green: totally untrained, curious about everything, and easily thrown off by new situations. Tate will need someone patient and steady to give him structure and build his confidence day by day. He’s shown strong interest in other dogs and seems like he’d do well with a friendly canine buddy who can show him the ropes. Vaccines are up to date, he’s neutered and microchipped, and he’s starting on preventatives. Underneath the rough edges, Tate is all potential. Think Tate could be the one for you? They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
