About Jared
Jared is a goofy, gentle Lab/Shepherd mix whoās ready to be your resident dog's new best friend. Heās about 11 months old and has spent his recent months learning the ropes in a DC-area foster home. While heās shy at first, Jared quickly opens up when he feels comfortable, especially if thereās another friendly dog around to show him everythingās okay. He needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog, as he reads canine cues well and loves to play, wrestle, and match energy with his four-legged friends. Around people, heāll take his time but, once he trusts you, turns into a loyal, affectionate companionāhappy to melt onto the couch or tag along for adventures. Jared does very well with kids in his foster homes. Heās food-motivated and eager to learn, so further training should be a breeze. Heās neutered and up to date on vaccines. If you give Jared some patience as he settles in, youāll see him blossom into a real gem of a friend. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
