About Brandice
Brandice is a sweet, gentle soul ready for her next chapter. She’s a medium-sized shepherd and retriever mix, about three years old and based in Washington, DC. Life didn't start easy for her, but she’s finding her confidence in foster care and shows her affectionate side as soon as she warms up. Brandice is a pro at giving kisses, loves to lean in for belly rubs, and strikes a nice balance between cuddling up on the couch and exploring her environment with plenty of curiosity. When left to her own devices, she’ll quietly chew a bone or simply wander around, content and independent. This girl gets along with other dogs—she reads canine body language well and stays friendly, even with less-than-patient pups. A more active home suits her best, especially one able to give her daily walks, lots of play, and ongoing leash training. In energetic or noisier environments, Brandice will benefit from the companionship of another confident dog to help her adjust. She is settling into house training and car rides, and she’ll happily nap in her crate when she’s ready for a break. Brandice would do best in a home without children. She’s looking for someone to help her keep growing, uncover even more of her bright, social personality, and offer the love and structure she craves. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
