KJ is a leggy 2 year old JRT cross who has recently been returned to rescue when his adopter decided to go on mission. He weighs 18 pounds. KJ originally came into our care in 2024 when he was 14 months old. He was living in a home with almost zero exercise and had never been socialized with the world. A lot of time and patience has gone into this shy boy, and he will do beautifully in the right home with the right people. KJ is house and dog door trained. He rides well in the car. He pulls a bit on leash when he gets excited but is otherwise well-mannered. KJ is shy when meeting new people and would do best in a quiet rural home with a big fenced yard and lots of hiking/active outdoor time with his new family. He does well with other dogs his own size, and a calm confident mentor dog in his new family would be a plus! NO CATS! Shy dog patience a must. KJ is in foster care in the Yakima area. His adoption fee is $200.
