About Cora
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Cora, a cheerful and lively 2-year-old, 14-pound spayed female Rat Terrier mix with a short black and white coat. This energetic girl adores everyone she meets, including children over the age of 8, and brings a bright spirit wherever she goes. In her foster home, she gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and would love a playful canine companion, but she is not suited to living with larger dogs or with non-playful or senior dogs as she can be a bit insistent when playtime comes around. Due to her strong prey drive, homes with cats, bunnies, or other small animals are not a good match for Cora. Cora is a true snuggler, always eager to curl up with you at bedtime under the blankets. She is incredibly affectionate and wants to be wherever you are—be prepared for a loyal shadow who insists on being close, even during showers! She’s house trained with reminders and also uses potty pads for convenience. For her safety and happiness, Cora requires a small dog-secure fenced yard and must be adopted by someone located within 40 minutes of Steger, Illinois. Up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, fecal checked, heartworm negative, and current on heartworm and flea prevention, Cora is ready to find her perfect match. Think you are the one?
