About Rush
Rush’s world turned upside down when he lost his long-time family and ended up in a basement apartment with little access to the outdoors. Despite everything, Rush is healthy and needs to be neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations before adoption. He’s house trained and, with encouragement, can tolerate car rides. Rush is learning leash manners and improving with each walk. He can be cautious meeting new people but has never shown aggression. While reportedly able to live with other dogs—females preferred—he consistently chases cats and should not live with them. Rush has lived successfully with children. He’s not suited to work as a livestock guardian. This strong Great Pyrenees needs a securely fenced yard; four feet won’t cut it with him. If you want a gentle, loyal companion ready to rebuild his sense of home, Rush fits the bill. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
