About Anna
Anna is one of those dogs you just want to sit down beside and let her soak up the attention. At nearly 10 years old, she has finally left behind a rough history of being bred over and over and is ready for a life where she is simply cherished. When Anna arrived, she faced an uphill health battle—testing positive for Lyme, dealing with worms, and needing a benign tumor removed. Recovery wasn’t easy; an abscess after surgery gave her one more challenge, but Anna’s resilience carried her through every setback. Now, she is healthy, spayed, and really just wants warmth, family, and meals she doesn’t have to compete for. Anna has a long, tricolor and cream coat that gives her that classic Great Pyrenees look. She loves walks and will happily keep pace with younger dogs, but knows how to appreciate couch time too. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, making her a good fit for a variety of homes. Anna is ready for a peaceful chapter with someone who appreciates an affectionate, seasoned companion.
