About ⁕ Mabel

Meet ⁕ Mabel, affectionately called “Big Mama.” She’s an 11-year-old, 70-pound Pit Bull mix who carries herself with a mellow, sunny attitude. Despite her senior years, Mabel is always up for a stroll around the block, a car ride, or just lounging outside to soak in the warmth. She’s sturdy and gentle with other dogs and welcomes children with the kind of sweetness you only find in a seasoned family dog. Mabel’s path here hasn’t been easy. After losing her original owner, she bounced briefly through another home before finding herself in critical danger at a shelter. Pulled just in time, she’s now safe in foster and thriving. Her foster calls her goofy, loving, and deserving of a retirement full of comfort and calm. Mabel is spayed, housebroken, fully vaccinated, and recently cleared by her senior wellness exam without any health or behavioral concerns. Please note, Mabel is listed as a courtesy post and not under the care or evaluation of Rancho Coastal Humane Society. For inquiries, contact her foster directly.
