This big and handsome boy is SO ready to find his forever family! Coming to us as a stray after found roaming near vacant buildings on his finder’s way to work, Drew is ready for the family life he deserves! If his finder would have been in the position to adopt him once his stray hold was over, as no family came to reunite with him, he would have done so in an instant. Drew is THAT good of a boy! This big guy is often more focused on sniffing everything, that when he would meet new canine friends, it was difficult to tell if he is more interested in them or sniffing everything else around him. He has been in playgroups with his canine pals here, but again, sniffs seemed to be supreme for this guy. We do recommend meet and greets with other dogs in the home before he can be adopted into a home with an existing dog. This smart boy knows sit, and lures into down...and he absolutely LOVES playing with a ball! Come and meet this big handsome and sweet boy in person, to see if he is meant to spend forever with your family! We are a first come, first served and in-person adoption center located at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC. Hours: Monday-Friday: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please only consider adopting if you are sure you can promise forever, as Drew deserves nothing less. Meet and greets with other dogs and children are always recommended and will be required with Drew. We do not know how he does with cats and have no way to test for this. The 3-3-3 Rule for shelter pets: • 3 days to decompress • 3 weeks to settle in • 3 months to build trust Adoption fee: $80 All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives.
