Gilly is a big-hearted, affectionate, and playful Great Pyrenees mix looking for her perfect home in Ithaca, NY. She adores people and thrives on close companionship—expect her to snuggle up in bed, gently rest her head on your chest, and hand out loving morning kisses. Gilly is known for her soft fur, patient demeanor during muddy days, and impeccable manners; she never begs and takes treats so gently you might not notice. While she’s well-trained and reliably house trained, she enjoys learning new things and is responsive and eager to please. Gilly completed a board and train course, knows several commands, and walks well on a leash, though she does get excited on her first outing to a new place. Gilly prefers a home where she’s the only dog. She cannot live with female dogs and isn’t a match for dog parks, but she’s polite around people and unfazed by strollers or bikes on walks.
