About Emmy
Emmy is a Husky mix who’s happiest when she’s outdoors, running through the woods or zipping around a fenced yard. She’s around eight years old, but don’t be fooled—she still has plenty of energy and that classic mischievous Husky spark. She’s sweet, devoted, and bonds deeply with her favorite person, showing her silly side once she’s comfortable. Emmy is dog-social and has lived with other dogs in different settings, from playgroups to doggy daycare. That said, she’s got a prey drive and isn’t safe with cats, so no feline friends in the home. She’s also good with kids aged six and up, though her enthusiasm sometimes leads her to joyfully jump up, so very young or fragile people aren’t the best match. With strangers, Emmy may start out a bit reserved, but give her time and she opens up, rolling over for belly rubs and leaning in for affectionate hugs. She loves treats, knows her basic commands, and is both crate and house trained. Like many Huskies, she’s independent-minded and vocal, so expect some chatty greetings and the occasional reminder that she’s around. She’s up to date on vaccines and spayed. What Emmy needs most is someone ready to keep her active, engaged, and included. She’ll give back loyalty, adventure, and plenty of laughter. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
