About Doc Ma
Hagen is a two-year-old, neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix currently fostering near Cape Cod, MA. Outgoing for a cattle dog, he likes meeting new people and checking out unfamiliar places. Hagenās got a loud sideāheāll bark to let you know he needs a bathroom break, hears something strange, or sees other dogs coming and going. Playful by nature, heās just started developing a love for toys, and heās notorious for nabbing household items when youāre not lookingāthink paper towels, brooms, pretty much anything he can carry off as a prize. Dog relationships are complicated for Hagen: heās considered dog-selective. He can be a bit reactive on leash or when crated, though with attentive handling itās manageable. Hagenās past wasnāt easy; he came from a backyard breeder and landed in a high-intake shelter, so heās still learning how good life can be. Heās crate trained, house trained, and vaccinated. Heās not a match for cats, and homes with kids 12 or older are recommended. Hagen does best with people who can guide him patiently and give him the structure and confidence-building he missed out on the first time around. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
