Meet Darwin, an almost 6 year old very loyal boy. Darwin loves getting attention, affection, and learning. If you'd like a good hiking partner, Darwin might just be your companion. Darwin is good with other dogs, large and small. If there's some adventure and play to be had, he's right in the thick of it. Darwin is a mix, we believe with some heeler in him, as he will work the yard and is very responsive to command. With the right person helping train him, he'd pick up on any lessons given. At night, if you want a hip warmer, Darwin is right there to accommodate. Darwin is good on leash and with training, could be equally good off leash. Darwin is a very excitable boy. He's very vocal when he wants to be, so an apartment probably wouldn't be the best, but if you live rural or with some space, he'd just let you know when a squirrel should intrude the yard. Darwin would be best with older, dog savvy kids.
