About Kent Nh
Kent Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Age/Sex: 5 year+/-, NM Weight: 52 lbs Medical: Up to Date and vaccinations, spayed, wormed, microchipped, HW- Dog Friendly: Yes Cat Friendly: Unknown Kid Friendly: 10+ Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Location: New Hampshire Kent is just a buddle of love! He is like the guy that wants to say “hi” to everyone he meets when he is out and about! AT home he is just as friendly, but if someone comes to the door or it is time for the mailman you will know it! He has a VERY, deep bark that might surprise them and make them think twice about lingering, but he is only warning you that someone has entered the zone! This fella LOVES playing fetch. He is an attention hog, and you can never give him enough! He also loves his food, so if you want a little extra just show him a yummy and maybe he will mow the yard! He does enjoy going for car rides, however if you are going off-roading leave him home (unless you want to get your vehicle detailed). Be prepared, he likes to ride shotgun on these trips, so tell the hubby and the kids they have to sit in the back. He is a very all-around happy boy who is always wagging his tail! After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Kent’s adoption donation is $500 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and Spay/Neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter, then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and $100 deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
