My name is Phoebe, and I'm an old gal looking to retire from my long career as a human trainer. Now, I'm on the lookout for my forever home, where I can enjoy the finer things in life! My ideal home would come with fully trained humans-yes, even little ones are tolerable-as long as I have my own cozy space to escape to when I need a break. I'm open to homes that require some training, especially if the beds are soft and the treats are plentiful! Here's what I expect from my future humans: They should know the tricks of sharing the bed, furniture, food, and personal space (including laps and faces for those sweet kisses). A fenced-in yard is a must, with either continuous access to the outdoors or a human who can let me come and go as I please. During ideal temperatures (about 45-85 degrees), I love to lounge outside, soaking up the sun while keeping an eye out for stray cats, squirrels, and the occasional neighbor. It's important to understand that I am a true old lady. While I have years of experience teaching humans new tricks, and I'm certainly capable of learning some myself, I'd prefer a place that can love and accept me for the skilled and stubborn girl that I am.
